Fabrics China Creation 2006 launched

April 7, Starting-up Ceremony and News Conference of Fabrics China Creation 2006, a nationwide contest of textile fabrics and designs, was held in Beijing. Attendees included officers of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) as well as major fiber suppliers, textile manufacturers and apparel brand owners. Over 30 media sent reporters to participate. Organized by CNTAC and sponsored by China Textile Information Center and China Fashion Colour Association, Fabrics China Creation 2006 aims at encouraging design and innovation on China’s own textiles and discovering talents.
This year, the contest has won great supports from Australian Wool Innovation Limited, Du Pont China, Quanzhou Haitian Textile Co., Ltd., and Lenzing Group. For the first time, the contest will introduce online tool to grade and assess the candidates, making the results of wider public awareness.
