Textile and apparel export to Mexico from China keeps growing

In the year 2012, total export of textiles，apparel and raw materials from China to Mexico amounts to about $2578.81billion, up 2.58%. in which, export to Mexico amounts to $2.293billion, increased by 15.02%, accounts for 0.89% of the total export of textiles.
Mexico is also a major textiles and apparel manufacturer and exporter among both southern American countries and the world. In the year 2010, it ranked as number 10 apparel exporter and number 14 textiles exporteramong the top 15 giant textile and apparel makers and traders in the globe.
In the year 2013, Mexico initiated antidumping investigation concerning polyester blanket exported from China, showing its intend to protect its domestic market.
