China : Beijing - Hong Kong Trade Ties Strengthening

Trade cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong has reached higher level from goods trade, investment to build factory to overseas financing and international development.
So far, 63 units from Beijing city have invested a total of US $290 million in Hong Kong.
Beijing clothing units are not good at design and brand management, but Hong Kong is at advantage as designers of Hong Kong have the ability to bring whole new innovation and idea.
Today, the establishment of factory and goods trade, for which the two have come together, is just a tip of an iceberg. In 2005, the service sector of Beijing and Hong Kong was US $5.33 billion with a rising rate of 45.1 percent, and has left the goods trade far behind in terms of value.
Beijing units have begun to look for the banks, investment units and specialized management units in Hong Kong.
